Folks, has anyone ever had any issue with their PowaKaddy FX3?

I'm not sure what the issue is, but the battery seems to come, as in the green light comes up when powered anyways. But there's no life in the buggy itself, and the LCD screen is dead.

Open the handle - you probably have a loose connection.

Also worth checking for small stones and pebbles in around the battery that could be impacting connectivity to the buggy.

I believe its a common complaint for these and that my dad had an issue with that happening (I could be mixing up models)

I had my CT6 break down like this. On the exact day my warranty had expired. Powakaddy honoured the warranty and sent me out the part so I could swap it myself.

Turned out to be a very straightforward repair. The control board had to be swapped out. Takes about 30-40 mins tops. Just a couple of screwdrivers and plastic opening tool is all you need. It involves taking the cover off the base of the trolley and then replacing the board. They provide instructions etc.

Give their support number a call. If you're out of warranty they might even sell you a new board. Failing that there are a couple of websites selling spares. You could call them and get advice/spares to get your trolley repaired.
