    Why is BOI terribly slow in opening a new account?

    We have no way of answering that question for you! It could be anything from a staff shortage, your financial circumstance to there being issues relating to MLA and your financial activities and may more things.

    Then again it could be because they know you are only opening the account to lodge that cheque to and don't see you as a profitable customer.
