The cinema ticket could be free and they'd still be robbing you with the price of popcorn and soft drinks…

The popcorn etc is how they make money most cinemas only get about 30% to 40% of the ticket price.

And popcorn costs 1cent to make and charge 10er for it. Some Mark up. Big reason I don't go near cinema any more is that it's a money racket. Before you sya you don't have to buy it, clearly no idea how persistent kids are.

    What cinema lets people vape?

I'm a big fan of cinema, but aim to go earlier in the day (like 6ish) and a few weeks after movie has been released so it's not too full.

Omnipass is dead handy for me.

I wouldn't say they let, more that they don't have the staff, and the staff they do have just don't care or aren't willing to risk their own safety by challenging toerags.

    It is what it's.

Thanks OP! Went to Cineworld last night where tix were €4 plus 90c booking each.

Bit sad that even being so cheap, on a Saturday, in the city centre, to see it only about a third full. (Odeon and Vue seat pickers were the same when I was checking out options).

    It is what it's.

Was in The Lighthouse yesterday evening for the new Alien film, all sold out. Wasn't a free seat in the house. Great to see!

It was €4 in the IMC cinemas and 50 cent booking charge. I went and seen "The Trap" . Rubbish film.

I was at 11am showing of Sing Sing in the lighthouse yesterday, I would say maybe 1/3 full tbh that is pretty good for that time.

Usually showings that early are pretty empty it's one of the reasons I like it!

Went to see Kneecap in the early afternoon in The Savoy. Cinema was fairly quiet but it was a cracking day .

I could say that you clearly have no idea about parenting, but that might be a different discussion :)
