    Hi

Looking for any information about remote pilot training. I don’t mean just drone operators . Isn’t there training , possibly not in Ireland yet, for remote pilots for small aircraft that would be used for search and rescue , mapping , etc and I think you need a Class 1 pilot’s licence so you understand instructions from air traffic control?
    thanks all

Pilots flying light aircraft remotely doesn't currently exist. There are UAS/Drone pilots and normal pilots. And in any case to fly an aircraft remotely you'd really want a proper pilot's licence or else how would you expect to fly the thing?
