Looking to sell a Knaus Sport Traveller 600 DKG 2007 - any ideas as to where is the best place to advertise this? I don't want to waste my time with Done deal and any potential tire kickers that are lurking on there.

Any advice would be most welcome thanks.

Donedeal has the greatest exposure. Don't think anything else comes close.

Unless you sell directly to a dealer, where you will loose a lot, there is no way to avoid tyre kickers.

Donedeal.ie would be where most people look. Adverts is another place to advertise, you will get stupid offers here but at least it's online only so not ad many tyre kickers

my experience with DoneDeal is that genuine people will phone. I wouldn’t bother with texts or messages.

Done deal all the way. I sold my old campervan on DD. The first guy who came to look at it bought it. Sound man.

Like selling anything you'll still get eejits ringing up asking you to 'do a dale' and a few text messages with WELL LADD WOTZ UR BEST PRICE 4 VAN LOL CASH WAITING.

I usually say no texts or private numbers on the ad. You will still get them of course. I just ignore them.

If someone starts trying to bate you down on the price on their very first call without even having looked at the van, or if they're asking you basic information that is clearly written in the text of the ad, then they're usually messers in my experience - people with nothing better to do just passing the time who are dreaming about one day owning a campervan.

I've gotten good at filtering these ones out. The easiest thing to do there is tell them to come view the van and make you an offer on it if they like it. They never do.

Buy a Tesco SIM card and stick in an old phone for the duration of the ad on DoneDeal. Save the headache of those wasters having your actual number.
You quickly get a feel for who is genuine and who isn’t. They’ll either call or ask when’s good to call and won’t talk money.
