Free Books Scheme Query

Hi For the free secondary school books for the J.C, would novels/plays have to be paid independently? Our son is doing the Merchant Of Venice and The Outsiders, I assume these aren't included in the scheme? Have emailed the school but got no reply and they haven't made it clear if they are included or not

Our school provided both of those plus the accompanying activities/skills books
