Suggestions to Cover a North-Facing Wall

    I want to cover that little fenced wall with plants planted at the top, with the leaves cascading down.

    Do you have any ideas for an evergreen plant for that north-facing wall that will achieve this? Something like the plant from the picture I attach

    . What you see at the top are ferns. I'm looking for something that's not invasive.

    If ground bedside step allows it Box would work.

    For trailing, try Ivy, but it will spread or Cotoneaster, there are low growing ones.

    Pic looks like Symphoricarpus which is a larger shrub.
