    I want This type, please:

Note the hinged and catched, transparent lid? Needs to be waterproof. About the three or four inch mark?

That one, above, *exists* and would do. Only, USA. And, they want $50, Before we even begin! 😲

Surely we can do better? (They only seem to do 'double' sized ones, on the usual)

    Thanks.

    That's an expensive lunch-box, Stigura. 😁

I've not seen a hinged and clipped box like that, but OBO do clear-topped boxes and they are often available at electrical wholesalers.

    Nightmarish, isn't it?! 😁

No, sorry. I'm on a site where links aren't allowed. We can't even name that firm named after a river! 🙄 Would've been so easier to chuck up a couple of live links myself. Never mind.

As ever, with me, @10-10-20 , the devil's in the detail. I'm looking at a little 'Jewellery Cleaning Bath' effort. Needs to keep iso in. Square, not round. I want to make a grill for it. Sod cutting mesh round!

Oh; And, as iso's so stupidly priced here, against UK / Amazon? Small size saves my precious drop of it. Really that simple 👍️

😁 Sorry I took so long, mate. Was just snatching up a litre of iso!!! 😂 👍️

If I can just run down one of these boxes now? Be golden, won't I?!

Hang it, @10-10-20, I think I'm close to folding on this, now that ye've got me my cheap iso! (Thanks, so much, for that! Half the price I'd have to pay, for the ~ literal ~ last 500ml in town!)

So, I can afford to Use more? Chuck: " QWORK Junction Box Universal Project Enclosure, ABS/PC Alloy Waterproof IP65 Electrical Box Hinged Shell w PC Transparent Cover with Lock 150mm x 100mm x 70mm " at Amazon. 150 x 100 x 70mm.

Clearly not the quality of the US made one. But, for My purposes? I reckon it'll do.

Anyone come up with a just impediment, why I shouldn't spend fifteen yo, instead of nearly a ton? Saving'll buy me a Lot of iso too! 😁

    Very Happy!

Good to hear that Stigura. It's the 10x pack that you saw on there I hope?

I use it here for general cleaning and it's pretty good stuff.

    10 pack?! I saw them, mate, yeah! But, did I not mention this is for 'jewellry cleaning'? I'll be putting horribly small items in there. And, only, maybe once in a couple of weeks? Ten litres? I was just washing up. I was musing to myself;

'Dear god. It's got to the point, now, where I'll seriously consider a shorter warranty, on a cheaper tool!'

I tried, desperately, to put a 'crying with laughter' emoji in there. Couldn't quite tell myself the lie! 😂 But, nah. I'd never get through Ten litres! Just got the one. Seventeen Yo, Delivered! And that is Exactly the price on one 500ml bottle, gathering dust, in town!

Know what? I think that saving just about nicely takes care of my £13.00 box! That'll do nicely, thank you! 😁

Ah right, I thought you were almost drinking the stuff. 😉

    Glad to help!
