I had to take out the glove box out of my car recently.

Trying to get a replacement one is proving difficult as the car is quite old…22 years.

Can you fail an nct if you don't have a glove box?

Are there any sharp objects or electrical wiring exposed?. Whilst there is no specific mention in the NCT manual of glove boxes, they may refer to secondary structure and sharp objects as per section 6. I would just tape up the hole for the test and see how you get on.

Absolutely not, they don’t care about your glovebox

Tell them you don't wear gloves.
