Ford 3910 Tractor Arm Lift Ball missing

    Hi all,

Wondering if how easy is it to fit a Lift Arm Ball into the Arm Lift Socket of a Ford 3910?

Don't have any welding gear so wondering if there is any other way of doing this.

As this tractor is only doing minimal work in field (never on roads) e.g. lifting/moving via transport box, topping - is it possible to use the arm as it is without the Ball by looping a heavy duty rope in the socket before putting the pin in. e.g is that hack ok?

    Thanks

Unless it has changeable balls the most likely reason for it being missing is excessive wear, so no point just replacing the ball. Weld on ball ends is the cheapest fix or replace the arm for a no weld option.

Is there a clip holding in the ball in the other arm?

There is no clip holding the other ball. Not near the tractor now to take photos to show.

I think a new arm is my best solution.
