Not sure if 'Events' is the correct forum.

Looking for tickets for any home Liverpool game this season.

Any advice on where to start?

There's a tickets thread in the soccer forum. That forum you need permission to join. Go to the sports forum and access to the soccer forum is there. I doubt the tickets thread would be much use. Try the lads on the Liverpool thread but I'd say it's a long shot.

Realistically, if you don't have a personal contact and you want official tickets then hospitality is probably the only way to go. You'll pay a serious premium for very little benefit, but it's from the club and 100% legit

Otherwise it's the various "ticket resale" sites over there which are technically illegal but seem to thrive

I would thread very carefully with buying Liverpool tickets which isn’t direct, I know of a few lads who got completely shafted(not from this site I must add) and lost a lot of money between them all. Tickets like gold dust from my experience of trying to help friends out. Best of luck

Thanks for the advice. I've seen the package deals that include accommodation and ticket, but they're way too expensive. I'll hunt for tickets on their own and see what happens.

That reminds me, I saw Rory's Travel Club had some that didn't seem too bad a price. This is a month old now, but might be worth checking...

The people saying go down the route of getting somebody who knows somebody are correct.

I've had great success on Twitter and social media with geniune guys selling spares or season tickets for the game. You have to be verrrrrrry wary with that now with so many scammers about.

Of the resale ticket sites I often found ticombo the most reasonable.
