    Has anyone bought a used car from a Ford garage in NI and claimed in a Ford garage down here under the Ford Protect Used Car Warranty?

    Ford in Derry are telling me it's covered no problem for 6 months, I called two Fords dealers down here and they are saying they are not sure.

    I did find a terms document online - https://www.ford.co.uk/content/dam/guxeu/uk/documents/home/owners/my-vehicle/warranties/extended-warranties/Ford_Protect_new_TCs.pdf

    Which notes on Point 6 as

    This Warranty does not apply beyond the countries forming part of the Geographical Area. For repairs performed outside ofthe United Kingdom, you may be required to pay the Authorized Repairer’s charges in full and submit a claim forreimbursement (including the Authorized Repairer’s invoice(s) as evidence). If possible, please return the replaced parts toFord via an Authorized Repairer

    And then notes these above:

    Authorised Dealer a vehicle dealer located in the Geographical Area that has been authorised by Us or by one of Ouraffiliated Ford companies to undertake Vehicle sales and/or warranty repairs;

    Geographical Area Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, CzechRepublic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy,Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Monaco,Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Rom

    All that would make me think it does, but wondering if anyone has actually ever claimed.
