There are always threads on here about adding stoves or new flues from stoves. The NBCO have produced some small guidance notes that may help people while searching.

Technical Guidance document J - Heat Producing appliances gives Prima Facia guidance on compliance with the requirement of Part J to the second schedule of the building regulations.

When installing a new stove and chimney system the guidance should be followed, so as not to endanger the health and safety of the occupants and adjoining occupants.
