    Hi All,

    Tricky one.

I am BA in one of the medium size cosultancies and, while overall across consultancies out company is fairly good, it is a bit of challenge for me to return to work after maternity leave. In fact I think project work is not something I can commit myself into ( ATM I dont have opportunity to check my mailbox and messager at 7.am or 9pm go on a business trips with 2 weeks notice)

I wonder if anyone had successfully moved to permanent role? I'm lacking data analytics experience for be more of an operational BA though. I'm OK with taking salary cut and just work form 9-5 in hybrid setting. But based on my market research I have to tweak my cv heavily to fit some "Customer Success Manager Role" and still get rejections, while have plant call backs for BA roles, but all ot them are either contracts or consultancies

It would be worth getting some paid specialist careers advice in your situation.

Its a pity this sub doesn't get more replies to Threads.

Sounds like part-time in public sector would suit you. If you can handle the cultural change.

    Well you can't have everything...

That's the downside to contacting and consultancy. They'll extract as much as they can for the money. Usually your time.

The other option is part time

Thanks everyone for responses. Just to clarify, I would be totally fine at 45k, it's just that I receive rejections every time I apply to "Customer Success manager" roles, I d realize I have to tweak my cv for each role, but I only have time to create around 3 versions.

Any idea which junior roles I can apply with BA experience. Advise on paid job consultant will be highly appreciated as well.

My understanding Customer Success Manager Role is help desk management of sorts depending on the lexicon of the organisation. That's ITIL, and Prince certs and obviously substantial support experience 3rd tier and perhaps some database querying depending on the organisation.

    I might be mistaken.

Ba is very generic role it could mean anything. In some places it's a real specific role in others its blurred with other things.

In Ireland there seems to need qualifications and certification to get past HR. Then experience gets you the interview and beyond. In my opinion. In the UK it's the other way around. Experience trumps certs

That my opinion on it YMMV..
