Hello, does anyone know of any way of getting older case law?
Post 2004 is available on the Courts Website, and some further older is available on BAILII, but much older case law is not there, including some very important ones, for example - O’Keeffe v. An Bord Pleanála [1993] 1 I.R. 39

VLEX seems to have everything but that is only on yearly subscription, and I guess is expensive.

    Anybody know any other mechanism?

VLEX seems to offer a seven day trial. I don't know what you get for that though.

VLEX has its limits in terms of the Law Reports it covers. Yes it covers the main ones (in particular the Irish Reports, which is the IR citation in O'Keefe above) but other publications may require a Westlaw subscription (Irish Law Times, Irish Law Reports Monthly etc).

You may wish to consult with your local library to see if they have access to these. Failing that, if you can gain access to a third level library (as a student or alumnus), you may be also able to gain access in a cost effective manner.
