Voice not working over Vodafone gigabox

    t's 5 weeks ince my connection was swapped over to fibre terminating eventually in a Gigabox.

    An hour after the installer went the internet came online but the voice never worked. Twice a week I have been calling 1907 for Vodafone support. After the usual testing from their end and checking that my phone was connected to Tel 1 they eventually wanted the Gigabox swapped. The second installer agreed with me that the log on the Gigabox:

    indicates that there is a problem with the Vodafone system. By calling the special Vodafone installer helpline he discovered it was still the sno of the earlier HG658c box that was there. Didn't succed in them swapping it for the sno of the Gigabox. Continued calls to 1907 and they kept insisting swappong the Gigabox. Eventually I gave in, No change. And the serialnumber of the old box is still the one registered in teir system weeks later. Then they wanted a Panasonic dect phone. And even though my earlier handset was a dect phone I got one, No change. Eventually they transfered it to 2'nd level and nothing happened for a few days before they came back, to their own 1'st level and not me, and asked if a phone was connected. Unbelievable.

    The Gigabox still says voice status is Off and the voice light is blinking. Vodafone support is just looping doing the same again and again and their 2'nd line support is just delaying with stupid questions instead of doing some actual investigation, or even reading their own log thread.

    I have succeded connecting the old HG658c to the Gigbox by manipulating the wan settings (1'st installer cut the old phone line out on the street) but now the voice status on that shows Unregistered so I can't use that instead.

    My problem now when Vodafone is not moving forward is that the admin login only give so much acces to the Gigabox. On the older HG658c I could change the Wan settings but on the Gigabox I can just see them. Do anyone have a better login. Or a better phone number for a higher level of Vodafone business customer support. 5 weeks without a landline is very long.
