    What type and brands kneepads are using. Looking at a new pair

    B&Q do a padded pair, no hard plastic, for around €11. I find them better than most.

    Depends on what you use them for really.

    I would always buy the trade trousers that would take a kneepad as never knew when i needed to kneel down and later in life added a thick kneeler also. Snickers and Mascot trousers.

    Not sure if having trousers with insert pads you could fit exterior ones over all of that as they usually only cover a smaller area , other inserts inside makes it a larger area to cover and would it sit right on your knees is why i added a mat also.
