If it's the 2.0 diesel I'd be asking them to pay me to take the car. They're a disaster. Some get on well with them but for a relatively low volume manufacturer their diesel engines are poor reliability wise and have been for at least two decades.

If it's diesel then stay clear of it. Plenty of information out there on them, just google it.
