I recently founded an IT services company, which has a website, good SEO and I have also promoted through ads platforms such as google ads.

Despite this and the great demand for IT services for companies (there are companies waiting for months to other providers due to the lack of profesionars) I can not attract business customers. No calls , no emails.

What do you think is the most effective way to attract B2B customers for my IT services company?

Telesales/Cold calling used to be a good way of getting business. You will need to train/recruit people though in the art of sales.
Word of mouth is always effective, speak to your existing clients, see if they know any other businesses that would need your service?

Absolutely! Telesales and cold calling can still be effective strategies for generating leads, but they require skilled salespeople who can connect with potential clients. Training and recruitment are essential to ensure your team understands not only the product but also effective communication techniques and how to handle objections.

Additionally, leveraging word of mouth is a powerful approach. Engaging with existing clients and asking for referrals can lead to high-quality leads, as these prospects come with a level of trust already established. Consider implementing a referral program to incentivize clients to recommend your services. Overall, combining both strategies can create a robust sales pipeline.

I've been in the IT Services business for 25 years … working with MSPs and over all the years the only real effective way of generating new business was through referrals and word of mouth. It can seem like a chicken and egg situation but most MSPs all started out looking after one or two customers and doing a really good job. CEOs talk to CEOs, IT Mangers talk to IT Managers, CFOs talk to CFOs and i'd say 90% of all new business comes via this route. …. Hi i'm Mr X CEO of ABC Ltd, I was talking to Mr Y of CDE ltd and I believe you are doing a really great job of their IT, we are looking to change our provider and would you be interested in pitching your business to us?'

Exactly what I said but wordier. Sometimes AI doesn’t know when to stop! 🙄
