It's weird that there's been diddly-squat about this since it happened, it's as if search engines have been wiped since 1st August.

Hopefully they'll be locked up for a long time. Spanish courts won't give a slap on the wrist like here

I don't know how the Spanish legal system operates, and how long it takes for court appearances etc, but I would have expected the details to have appeared by now. When I did a search after 1st August, there was at least a mention of the incident on a Dutch site (as it was a Dutch person stabbed), but even that's not mentioned on search engines now. The only thing that I've heard from the local Listowel gossip-mongers is that the person held is the son of a local unnamed businessman. If that is the case, some internet "Tippexing" could have been going on in an effort to get rid of any publicity.

The internet is one thing, but I've heard in the past that local Kerry newspapers don't report on certain cases when someone with influence asks them not to, although that may well be bs, but who knows? 😛
