Is it possible to identify what type of car this is?

I know nothing about classic/vintage cars but wondered was it possible to identify from these photos (the only two I have) what type of car this is? It was Dublin 1927. Family bought a Chrysler in 1937 and also had (in 1937, but I don't know when it was bought) an Austin. Thank you.

The second car looks like an Austin 12 or Austin 16 Open Road tourer

Thank you - and I have just come across a reference to an Overland Whippet Saloon Car in this gentleman's in-laws' home … for sale in Dublin 1933 - is that of significance to these photos?
