hello, I’m considering buying an apartment in Mahon House, Limerick City. Any suggestions or feedback, please?

As regards the complex in general there was security issues in the past with drug addicts gaining access and using the stairwells for injecting etc. There has been a change of management company since to M&C Property who are reputable and proactive so, presumably, these problems have been dealt with. I can't comment about the standard of the apartments other than the BER rating seems good.

The Ana Liffey Drug Project have a treatment centre on the ground floor which caters to female addicts, 9-5p.m. It has a separate entrance door to the main residential complex. The general area is busy and noisy. No car parking spaces available with the apartments, as far as I know.
