Messaging App - Text Field glitch

I composed a message in Notes, pasted it into my messaging app, and hit Send. The message appeared to be sent as it moved into the thread, but the text remained in the Text field box. I had to delete the text to send another message. Is it possible that the glitch resulted in the message NOT actually being sent despite it…
