    Can you drop the wheels

It's the wheels you set, drop wheels ( top hole ) when turning and lift wheels when rowing (bottom hole ).

The toplink will have to be adjusted for each tractor and wheel setting , shorter for turning, longer for rowing .

Turner will sit flatter on the ground for rowing.

Tines out for turning and in for rowing.

Tines set out for turning and in for rowing. Have the machine tilted down at the front but not tearing the ground, I find this throws back the grass lovely. They are a great machine.

Out for rowing means pin in top hole like in picture, correct?

And I'll have to move to the top hole in this picture for the wheels, correct?

Like I said it's only tedding I need. I've a proper rake for rowing.

We've never changed the wheel position on our yoke and have it 40+ years! Tines moved alright depending on turning and rowing. Top link gets a slight adjustment too to make sure tines were just touching the ground

It sweeps the ground cleaner when you lift the wheels, you'd see the difference with short rank grass.

Never tried it so can't comment. Never missed much the way it was anyway. It's raking days are over now

Thats the transport position. The pen should be in the farthest back hole for tedding and the machine should be running straight behind the tractor with the left rotor 2 or 3 foot out beyond the left wheel of the tractor.

Is the first 2 holes both transport positions?

Also Are you suppose to go clockwise like after the mower or can you go anticlockwise if needed. I hate looking over my left shoulder if going clockwise and it out beyond the left wheel.

Isn’t it just great to be in the height of summer and asking questions about tines up or down 😎 beats the misery of winter all day long

1st hole is transport also but pushes the machine too far over to the right IMO.

Yeah I go anticlockwise usually. You will need to stop lift and reverse at the corners or you could end up warping the wheels. They are only designed for straight lines really as they don't swivel and headstock is fixed.

    Fair enough on hole👍🏿

Em yea totally agree with second point, my wheel came off yesterday, and before I copped, reel had dragged the ground and fucked up the bearings.

    My tedding has stopped

Haybob had more give in it that way so.
