    Hi all,

Car was broken into the other night (I left it in a public car park overnight) came back and Gardai were there taking a look as I walked up to it! Talked to Gardai at the scene and I just received a letter with pulse number etc re the report of the crime . I've reported the incident to insurance company too.

Anyway on to my actual question...some people have said I need to make a written report and that insurance company will need to see that...I mean I could do that but the letter I receive seems to be the same thing? Any thoughts? Apologies if I'm not being very clear, it's been a crazy few days (broken into car the least of it!)

Given the guards were at the scene before you, unlikely its needed

My van was broken into and all the insurance crowd wanted was evidence of a pulse number
