    Hey teachers,

Finding it impossible to secure a secondary teaching job in Ireland and considering moving to the UK.

For teachers who have made the move, what was the process like?

    I teach History and English.

Its amazing all you hear on the news is the shortage of teachers in Ireland, I think they need to look into why it's difficult for the positions to be filled even after a college degree it can take up to 7 years of more qualifications to even a apply for a teachers job, this was mentioned on a decussion on a RTE1 during week, seems ridiculous.
