car modification?

hi folks,recently changed my car,got a new dacia stepway,phoned up the insurance,was asked has the car been modified in any way,i said no,however i do put things on my cars like door,sill,bumper protectors etc,(small strips of rubber things)few stickers etc,does this be classed as modifying your car ,and would it affect insurance in event of a claim ,was also thinking of putting a couple of small cat eye type yellow led lights on the front grill,just for show etc,thanks

It's more a question for the policyholder I think.

In my view those types of mods are not material. A remap, fancier alloys, or lowered suspension for example would be.

It’s a great indicator (if you’ll pardon the pun) of the type of person when you see a car that’s been tarted up like that. For me, it’s ‘avoid’.

(This thread has to be a wind up. No adult could honestly think that they need to declare mods you have described)
