Google Photos Backup Query

    Hi

    My wife has an Android phone that is pretty much full of photos, so clogging up her storage.

    I think these are all backed up to Google Photos though.

    When I look at options I get this screen first…

    and if I click on Free Up Space I get this….

    Am I correct in saying that if I click on the Free Up 64.61 GB that all that happens is the photos etc get removed from her device, but all stay in Google Photos as they are (albums etc)?
