Eir FTTH: Settings for putting a F2000 router between the home network and F3000 connected to Eir

Can anyone point me to the settings for the above.

II want to retain the existing F3000 for the FTTH connection to Eir, and use an F2000 for all internal networking services incl. ethernet, wifi, dhcp/dns. I'm assuming that I can do a direct network to network connection on port 1 of each router.

The F3000 is at 192.168.1.254 and the F2000 is at 192.168.1.250.
