Fumigation for woodworm

Dear PPl, we have a issue for getting rid of woodworm from our house to be. We had a surveyor checked our house and said that fumigation for woodworm needed. If somebody had gone through such situation and get your house or garden fumigated, please share with me your best practices. Your advice is much appreciated.
