What is the best date of the month to open a new GoMo account to avoid two close consecutive charges of €14.99

The sign-up fee covers the remainder of the month in which you signed up, whether that's two or thirty days. You should sign up on 1-2 August.

Ah right, so if you sign up on the first of Aug and pay €14.99, your next bill will be issued on Sept 1st.

Whereas, if you signed up on 30th Aug and paid €14.99 you would be billed for €14.99 again 2 days later on Sep 1st?

The actual payment is taken on 10-15 of the month but yes, the period paid for is the calendar month. By signing up early in the month, you get the closest thing to a whole month for that 14.99.

Plus you can sign up on 1st Aug and not port your number over until you feel like it, you're paying for the plan rather than it attached to your number. Allows you to try it out on their temp number before you commit

I signed up to gomo today. It says the sim is active once its delivered (3 days) but the earliest I could get a port date when I signed up was the 26th. Do I need to wait until then to activate?

You shouldn't have to wait that long to port unless there's some technical faults with their system. You should be able to port any time after you receive and activate the SIM.

Cheers. I thought that it was just when I was signing up I was asked for a date and the earliest was 26th. Cheers.

Once the sim arrives login to the GOMO page and transfer the number over then and there it takes about 10 mins.
