Watch advice please...

Hey all. I have my 50th coming up later this year and would love to get a new watch. Budget will be between 1-2K. My preference is a chronograph type watch, i had a seiko one for the last 15 years but unfortunatly it broke and cant be fixed. I'd also love to be able to try it on before buying as opposed to just buying online. Any help would be much appreciated as I know nothing about them really. Thanks!

What was the previous watch?

Wrist size?

Will you partake of swimming wearing it, racing of some kind or an interest in it or like me timing the kids pizza :)

Must it be mechanical and so on.

Hey, my previous watch was a Kinetic Arctura…..I wont be swimming with it or any other activities,I just like the look of that type of watch. I think mechanical would be best
