    Im actually a pike angler. But would love to give bass a go. Gormanstown, laytown, Clogherhead would be my area. Would it be worth my while tring any of these areas, and if so should I use bait or lure. Regards John

    Used to do a good bit of Bass fishing, don't have time any more, but some of my brothers do, and nephews, but was usually down wexford, say from South of Court town on down as far as wexford town. Bait usually worked best.

    My late bro and his in law( fished for Ireland)

    Used fish all around that area, rarely came home empty,
