Question for the group as I saw it mentioned in another forum……

Whats a good "calf raise" goal for long distance / trails runners, would it be for example 3 sets of 15 at 1.5 times body weight? And when it says 1.5 times body weight does this mean me at say 80kgs holding another 40kgs in dumbbells for example while I'm doing the exercises?

And would this equate to doing 3 sets of say 20 holding 20kgs?

Starting off? I was told hold for 30 seconds and do 3 on each leg. Then into 3 seconds up and 3 seconds down x 12 x 3/4 Add weight as you progress but I’m a road runner and not trails but like everything increase gradually
