What does it mean when a car is listed with €0 price?

I'm looking to buy my first car in Ireland but I noticed how listing websites like donedeal and carsireland have a lot of cars listed with a €0 price.

What does that mean? Is this people just not listing the price and trying to negotiate on the phone?

Sometimes it means the car is sold, sometimes you need to enquire to get the price, sometimes people do it to get a cheaper price for the Donedeal add

It's mostly people trying to get their car under the price filter on Done Deal. The actual price might be listed in the description, or maybe the seller won't tell you the price until you talk to them.

Personally, I filter them out by setting a minimum price of €1,000 whenever I'm looking. Although then you still get the €1,234 prices.

If the car looks right don't let the no price thing put you off.

Give a call or txt and ask them.

I wouldn't travel too far to see a car where they won't name the price at that stage.

You could be wasting your time if they are way above your budget.

That's why I set it at €1,500 minimum. I figure what's the harm in starting there if it can get me something better.

There might be a dead body in the boot.

Or 2 if your lucky. Always handy to have a spare. One for each hand.

Give the dealer a call. They'll confirm if its still available or ballpark figure.

Does donedeal not allow 'POA' - price on application?

On dealer websites, this is often the price tag on motors where, if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

    Exactly this.

Tbh if a seller is trying to get around the filter I just filter them out. Its a good indicator they'll be at the same messing with other things. Life's too short to deal with them.
