    Torpey hurleys. Not in limerick but just a half hour drive out into Clare. Makes a huge quantity of hurleys.

    I think there’s a place between Clarina & Patrickswell called Shanahan Hurlyes. Zero experience with them but another name to add to your list.

    Ed Shanahan, he is great, brought my son for his first hurley and some since. He made a big fuss about him measuring him and showing him everything he does to make a hurley.

    If its for a child or a female get the Bambu ones from Torpeys near Sixmilebridge

    They are lighter and the ball travels further. They are a bit more expensive but worth it in my eyes. I know of two camogie clubs who have advised all their players to go for bamboo next time they are buying.

    Contrary to what was said above there is no wait time - they have all sizes in stock anytime I've been there
