Horrendously slow classic broadband from vodafone

    Hi all,

    In the title really. Using “classic” DSL broadband from Vodafone - it was out of action for 2 days. Rang customer care..eventually “fixed” but now it’s crawling,,2.8mpbs download. Is anyone experiencing any difficulty with their DSL offering in Dublin?

    Sometimes when providers "fix" the tech issue they reset settings back to defaults which may put you on the wrong speed profile. They might have capped your speed in error.

    Call Vodafone tech team, tell them you used to have faster speed, now after the recent fault your speed went down. Ask them to check if there's any cap on your account. Are you on the correct speed profile?

    And do the turn off router/modem weekly as well.

    Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.
