    Hi,

There are ground spotlights in our back garden underneath shrubs and trees etc with sensors to come on in the dark. the cable looks thick and fairly solid and was only laid last year but we are getting a new puppy soon and am concerned that he could chew through it. Is this likely or woud the cable be animal resistant?

    Thanks

Its most likely steel reinforced cable similar to picture below, you should be able to tell by how rigid it is, they are usually not very flexible. Your puppy would be going well to chew through it! If in doubt give the orginal installer a shout to double check.

yes, they are fairly rigid alright. Thanks for that. I'll check with installer to confirm as well.
