Fully Charged have a first look up on the new Inster. Looks very impressive with interior space and could be a great option as a second car in a household. Will be interesting to see pricing.

Other important details according to autocar

    Launching Spring 2025 £22,000 price

3.8m long, 1.6m wide and 1.6m tall, very slightly longer and taller than a Dacia spring, also narrower and shorter than a Ford Fiesta but taller

42kWh or 49kWh Nickle-Cobalt-Manganese batteries. Should get decent range

    DC charging up to 85kW

If the number of Hyundai i20's (petrol price is circa €25k) on the roads is anything to go by, there is a market for the Inster in Ireland if the price is in a similar range.

This would be the same in height to an ix20, both being 1600mm, which is effectively an extra 150mm of height on the i20 but the Inster would be shorter and narrower than both

    There's definitely a market

Its a good car the i20. I have driven one and yes the gearing could maybe be better but otherwise not a bad car at all to drive very stable, good handling and ride and well equipped. The dash could be better do very plasticky

Most say the Instar is cute and that interiors not bad at all. No sign of any dull black at all.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
