Zanussi Gas Cooker stopped working

Well the "electricity" part of it did, there are no lights on the central display, usually shows time etc. And the ignitor does not work. Was perfect this morning and gone this evening. I can still light the gas, just used a lighter instead of ignitor. Is there any safety issues continuing to use it with the electrical part working?

    Any suggestions for a fix.

The cooker is about 10 years old so not worth spending a lot on, however I was looking at replacements, and the all seem to have electric grills not even with gas top and gas oven. Would prefer a gas grill (they are hotter and faster for better toast!!)

For info, this appears to be the current equivalent model: https://www.currys.ie/products/zanussi-zcg63260be-55-cm-gas-cooker-black-10189966.html

    TIA

Have you double checked a fuse / circuit did not trip?
