This information would normally be in your owner's manual.

It will vary by car model.

Oil , Air , Fuel (due every 2 years or 48,000 kms) filters.

Obviously oil change with the filter.

Check gearbox oil level - check only at 48k.

Inspect pollen filter if it has one.

    Full health check.

    Software updates if any due.

Ducato auto box is actually a manual gearbox with an actuator - gear oil is due every 96,000 kms if I remember right.

Been a few year since I worked in a Fiat dealer.

Theres a reason I was asking - That gearbox is a manual box with an actuator that changes gear on top of it.

A few years back we had a really interesting (mad) case with a customer who bought a brand new one- 2.3 fully fitted out camper built by a company in the UK. All the bells and whistle , 2 water tanks one for waste and one for fresh water.

Anyway he arrived in after 1500 km with the clutch burnt out in it. Fiat warranty covered clutches up to 25,000 so no issues.

2 months later he arrives again with 1700 kms on it with the clutch burnt out again.

Got on to warranty and they said replace it again as it was still under 25k

After 5 clutches, an actuator replacement and all the hydraulic system replaced Fiat then started asking questions so they sent an engineer over from Italy to inspect the camper.

He was with us for a week and we were all baffled as to what was going on.

All the parameters were working as it should - clutch wasnt slipping on every test we did. ECU was reprogrammed with new software and still couldnt figure it out.

We looked into the driving patterns and the clutch failures had only happened when he was abroad - France , Spanish campsites etc.

Asked were the campsites on hills etc.

It turned out that the issue was with the water tanks - they were both 400 litres so around 400 kg each.

Then he added on a space for a moped - another 100kg or so plus luggage, gas bottles etc.

Brought the camper from around 2200kg to over 3500kg - we had it weighed and it was way over the limits of the camper.

The extra weight when travelling meant the clutch actuator couldnt cope with the extra weight and was holding the biting point and burning the clutch out. We got the customer in and asked him to fill the camper as he usually would when travelling - he put all his luggage in it, the moped, filled the clean water tank with fresh water and it still wasnt slipping.

So we filled the waste tank and straight away the clutch showed up as slipping on the diagnostic - that extra 400kg of the waste water was pushing it just past the actuators limits. It made sense as it was only failing on his way home as he didnt empty the waste tank until he arrived back in Dublin.

The solution was to fit an Iveco cargo clutch disc - heavier duty clutch.

So what Im saying is be careful with the weight that you are going to add to it. Those boxes are very sensitive to weight especially if youre building a camper and adding on kitchen, showers etc.

HR, many thanks for your insights, I do appreciate it, a friend has a proper CV with this drive chain and the fresh tank is 90 litres

just watch out for rear seating if you’re converting from a horse box. You may not be allowed to have belted seats in the back.
Not an issue if they’re not travelling seats.
