Nets for behind goals - kids play area

I think I can diy this but I need a small bit of guidance.

Behind the kids play area is a polytunnel and I want to protect it from flying sliotars and may other assortment of balls.

I was thinking putting two 5m (height above ground) galvanised poles either side of the goals and running a net (probably think this will be 14m wide) between them to stop the balls from damaging the polytunnel as there's been a few running repairs so far.

How deep would the poles need to down and how much concrete would I need to bed them in?

Also re costs would this be a costly job?

HI, I think that the guidance is that the poles should have up to one-third of their height underground. Find out what your sub-soil is like and hire a pole auger?

Or would a concrete base and a pole holder bolted into the base?

You'd be surprised, if the area is open, how much a strong wind can catch even netting. So over engineer it I'd say, to eliminate any risk of it coming down on top of any smallies....

not a hope, with a net that size it will be similar to sail of a ship, will need to be 5-6 feet buried in concrete

This. And keep in mind too how dense the netting will need to be to stop a sliotair, probably a kids size sliotair
