I have gotten quotes from both Snag List Steve and John Garrett. They both seem very expensive. I’ve reached out to cad house snagging and just waiting on a quote from them. What was the main reason you went with them just out of curiosity?

John Garret wasn’t available and Steve was outrageously expensive, to the point I thought it was an F off quote. CAD got back to me quickly, were very reasonably priced and were very thorough. The builder was complimentary of him and reckoned he was very thorough yet reasonable in expectations.

I felt the same way about Steve and the quote from John Garret was more expensive! I think it’s a no brainer to go with CAD considering the difference in price is around €400

Ive used John Garrett on a couple of occasions down through the years.
Hes superb, worth every penny, saves us a lot of time and money.
A gentleman and an absolute expert in his field.

Based on recommendations on here I used John Garrett to evaluate some potential structural issues 3 years ago.

Highly recommend him. Only negative is he can be hard to get .

Just on cost I know more expensive does not always equal better but something missed in a snag could be very expensive down the line.
