Not sure where to put this but I use MS Edge browser and only recently something has changed. When I open the new tab page and click one of the quick links from recent pages at the top it will open the page in a new tab and go to that tab. Previously it would open the page in that tab.

It behaves as if ctrl and shift is pressed while clicking the link. Any ideas?

If anyone else has this issue I have finally figured it out. Click the settings icon in the new tab page and there is a toggle for open in a new tab that is enabled by default.
