keyboard height

Quick question for PC gaming platform What height should a keyboard be at ? Just asking because, years ago I read in I think PC GAMER magazine that it should be 27 " but, that's years back when you had them little pc desk things with the pull out keyboard tray (I still have one) and your monitor up a bit higher than 27"…
