Petrol cap on lawnmower stuck. Can anyone help

    Stiga ride on mower. Petrol cap is welded tight. Can't be opened. Don't know if it on wrong threads or airlock of sorts. Anyone help?

    Was it left out in the sun there could be pressure built up inside the tank. otherwise try an adjustable wrench if you have one

    Give it a spray of WD40 or brake cleaner and if you don't have an oil filter wrench loop a leather belt around it.

    Pour fairly hot water on the cap. Will expand, easier to turn.

    Sellotape a hand grenade to it, pull the pin and run. Usually loosens things up.You will need a hand grenade though. And sellotape.
