New dishwasher gurgling sound from sink

    Hi

    I got a new dishwasher installed today and there is a loud gurgling sound from the sink as the dishwasher drains , that wasn't there with my last dishwasher.

    Any suggestions?

    Mine does that when emptying, I would imagine its normal enough depending on the manufacturer

    Check the shore outside where the drain goes in, if mines plugged up with leaves i get the gurglling sound
