Glass on top of a garden table

Bought a lovely garden table, and would like to keep it nice. Was thinking of putting a glass top on it. The table will always be in a covered area.

The table is 215 cm long.

Am wondering if it is better to have one big sheet or 2 smaller sheets each of 107.5 cm long. 2 Sheets would be easier to handle than one big one, and if one is damaged it is cheaper to replace. The disadvantage is that you will have a ridge in the middle. My experience with having glass on top of furniture is that there is always some time where you would like to clean below it, or some moisture builds up underneath and the only way to dry it is to take off the glass.

Just wondering if anyone has any other pros or cons ..Also would you put little rubber mini feet underneath or just lay the glass on the table ?
