Qashqai dashboard light

Hi all, I'm about to buy a used Nissan qashqai but have a question ......when I start it this light comes on then goes off again but the guy said they all do that...is he right? Both the middle light and the yellow triangle come on then go off again after a few seconds. I tried it a few times and same thing happens

Agreed. It would be a bigger issue if they didn’t light up at all.

Yep, 2014 Qashqai here and that's normal. The central display is just telling you the three seatbelts in the back aren't done up. The yellow triangle is basically telling you to look at the central display

Great car, really is. My only gripe is that I'd like to buy a new car but can't justify it as the Qashqai is perfect for us and never gives us any bother 🤣

To be honest that's why I've held on so long to my current one. I've a 08 bmw and haven't had a single days bother with it since I've had it, still don't but I feel like its time now lol
