Fit 22mm compression fittings onto 3/4” copper pipes

    Hi All,

I’m about to start a bathroom refurbishment and over time I have purchased most of the fittings required.

As I’ve just discovered by home has 3/4” copper pipes installed and I made the mistake of purchasing 22mm compression fitting for this job which I can’t return.

My question is can the fitting or pipe be modified to overcome this mismatch and still make a reliable long term solution .

    Thanks,

you can buy a 22-3/4 that will allow you change to 22 for the rest

also use a little or similar under and around the olive, not on the threads as is commonly and erroneously done

    dont over tighten
